On Sunday, February 10, 2008, the All-Stars in the National Football Conference (NFC) won the 2008 Pro-Bowl against the All-Stars in the American Football Conference (AFC) with a score of 42 to 30. A record-tying 48 points were scored in the first half of the 38th Pro-Bowl. Offense Rookie of the Year, Minnesota Viking running back, Adrian Peterson, won the MVP for the Pro-Bowl. Peterson ran for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. The NFC players, winners of the Pro-Bowl, won $40,000 each. The AFC leads the Pro-Bowl series with 20 wins and 18 losses.
