The Celtics were behind 21 points after the first quarter, the largest deficit in a NBA Finals game after 1 quarter. The deficit got to 24 points in the second quarter. The Celtics eventually rallied to win the game with a score of 97-91. The Celtics set the new record for the largest point rally in a NBA finals game by rallying past a 24 point deficit to win the game.
